Romeo and Juliet has always been considered as an epic of love, and the only reason for this is the magnificence of their love. Unfortunately, it lasted only for a small epoch. However, their love story is considered as a tragedy as they die, leaving their love story incomplete. This was simply because of their impulsiveness. They followed their hearts and disregarded rational thoughts. It is often seen that age and youth do not go hand in hand. As people grow, old and experienced, they know what life is all about and make wiser decisions. On contrary, youngsters behave in a very different manner.

They are very reckless and very impulsive while making their decisions. Their responses can be predicted and they are quite bound to make misjudgments. Our writers can help you with any type of essay. For any subject Get your price How it works. This is also displayed in the story of Romeo and Juliet. All the youngsters in the story are very impulsive and reactive; the only exception is Benvolio. He is calm and sensible and behaves in a proactive manner. He is one of those people who does not allow his emotions rule over his reasons. He is a peace loving person and avoids disputes with the Capulets which Tybalt and Mercutio love having. These two cannot withstand the very presence of any member or relative of the other family. This gives us a good idea of the hatred the two households bear against each other.

This hatred for each of the other family is what compels these youngsters to make instant decisions. The depth of this feud is so intense, that no one remembers the true cause of the fights. They just quarrel because of their names. The other youngsters are Romeo Montague and Juliet Capulet. Their spontaneity is seen in almost every moment of the play. For instance, they fall in love at the very first sight; they decide to get married soon after they meet for the very first time; they decide to commit suicide without thinking even for a blink of a second. Romeo is a young chap whose actions can be easily predicted. He is passionate, spontaneous, and reasonable in most of his actions.

He is first shown lovesick for Rosaline, but then falls in love again; love at first sight. On the other hand, Juliet is a little girl, just 14 years old, but she appears to be more mature than Romeo is. On the other hand is the wise and old Friar Lawrence, who has experienced life more than anybody else in the play has. He also helps them with a plan when Romeo is banished from Verona. None of these are able to understand the bond of love that Romeo and Juliet share. The parents never realize the love of the two lovebirds. The nurse is however aware of their affair, she too is never able to appreciate it. She does not take this as seriously as Juliet or her Romeo do.

None of these are able to understand the course of love of Romeo and Juliet. The parents never recognize the love of the two lovebirds. The nurse is however aware of their affair, but she too is never able to appreciate it. For her, it is just a matter of ridicule. Throughout the play, William Shakespeare has tried to criticize the differences in the ways of thinking, attitude, behavior, and the relationship between the aged and the youth. Through this, Shakespeare tries to point out some of the major differences, and also what Juliet feels of her Nurse. In my opinion, Shakespeare has shown such dissimilarities in a manner that words cannot express.

He has transformed a tragic love story into an epic of love. The magnificence of Romeo and Juliet speak for themselves and I believe that everyone who reads this play will have a flurry of emotions going through himher.
